Preetha Jayakumar is an associate with Nielsen, Zehe & Antas, P.C., where she concentrates her practice on various areas of casualty, commercial and insurance related litigation. Prior to joining Nielsen, Zehe & Antas, P.C., Ms. Jayakumar worked at another Chicago firm where she gained significant experience working on both insurance defense litigation and insurance coverage matters.
Ms. Jayakumar earned a B.A. in political science from New York University and a J.D. from Notre Dame Law School. During law school, she also completed an externship with the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office (Criminal Appeals Division).
Ms. Jayakumar is admitted to the Illinois State Bar and is a member of the American Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association and South Asian Bar Association.
